At Araam, we believe in innovation, collaboration, and community. That is why we have invented Sova Soul. A Canadian-made mattress created in collaboration with a local artist to design a one-of-a-kind mattress border, with a portion of all proceeds going directly to a non-profit organization, Esquao, The Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women (IAAW)

About The Charity

We have chosen to donate a portion of all proceeds directly to Edmonton’s IAAW - Esquao Youth Leadership Program. Esquao, The Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women (IAAW) is a non-profit organization that recognizes the role, value, and achievement of Aboriginal women in society and raises awareness about the challenges and obstacles they face. IAAW offers several youth leadership development projects to build skills and confidence in young women aged 13-17 years old. This includes personal safety activities, presentations by community leaders, connections to community resources, providing opportunities for community involvement, as well as personal skills development.
